What Is An Earthquake House Inspection?
Our House Inspections are often referred to as post-earthquake building assessments, but a house inspection doesn't always have to be earthquake-related. When onsite, we can give you verbal recommendations for your property repairs and run a few minor house levelling tests to get an indication of your best repair strategy and way forward - This service is 100% free for Christchurch residents, although upon certain findings, there may be charges incurred. We send you a document so you understand the potential findings that may occur and raleated charged. This all occurs, prior to your house inspection.
If you'd like to engage us for a more comprehensive written report, we can provide a scope of works, and a written report, suitable for lodging with either EQC or the insurance companies. This is a paid service negotiated on a case-by-case basis.
